So my macbook pro fell of the bed on the back of the screen. when I checked if there was any damage there was a couple of horizontal lines on the screen. a couple days later the problem got worse. it looks like the damaged area shows the wrong pixels. is the screen broken or has this something to do with the connector ?

@wountata looks like a broken LCD. Of course you can and should always check to make sure that all the cables are still properly seated etc. , ultimately id does look like you will need to replace the display. MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar Late 2016 Screen Replacement
