I am trying to identify my Macbook Pro 15" A1226 it is 2.0 ghz which is not among the choices is not among the choices in your “ID my Mac”. I am looking for a replacement LCD screen. How do I know exactly which LCD screen is the right one? In case this info helps, actual serial no. on the unit is W87340V3X91
Remove the battery and look in the compartment side walls for the information. Update bump
Turn the computer on. Click on the apple icon on top left of screen. Click on “About this Mac” to get summary of information. Click on “more info” to get more information
Are you sure its a 2.0 GHz? are you sure its model is A1226? I checked mactracker and this is the only mac that has 2.0 GHz and is a 15". click the model number is A1175. To make sure, please take a screenshot of your system profiler and upload it here
