My laptop had shut down randomly, and when I tried to turn it on it makes only half of the startup chime and remains a black screen. I tried to do the command shift option buttons, but that didn’t work. Someone please help.
You may be in for a ride. Every generation of macbook has some sort of major issue that sometimes can’t be fixed by anyone else but Apple, and usually at a hefty price tag.
