My laptop does not want to power on. If I connect the charger it still charges but it doss not turn on. I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM but nothing happens because it won’t turn on. If I press the on/off button, the start up fan sounds like its about to sound to turn on but it immediately stops. No light comes on the screen. What should I do?

Sadly, this sounds like a logic board failure with the CPU logic on it. Here’s the guide on whats needed to get to it: MacBook Air 11" Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement and you’ll still need to find a replacement logic board. This system RAM is limited to 8 GB so it might be cheaper to get a newer used MacBook Air and place your current SSD drive in a case so you can access your data.
