Chosen Solution
I have a Samsung Core Prime with Android. It’s all fully updated. I used my phone this morning and realised that I didn’t unlock the screen first. I went into the Settings and tried changing the lock commands to see if I could get it back on and it just won’t lock. I’m nervous about keeping my phone unlocked all the time and want this fixed, so any help is appreciated!
I also noticed the date/time in the upper screen drop-down was frozen. The date/time on my background was fine so it took me a while to notice this! I reset the date/time and the drop-down screen went back to normal and then the lock screen started working again. I don’t know how or why this worked but it did! :)
