Wireless Controller for XBOX One (Model 1708)

I’ve already found that the problem is with the “boxes“ under sticks (firstly I thought it was little trash from the plastic or something). Got from Internet package with two fresh new “boxes“ and even with nice repair tools (searching for torx9 screwdriver can be a problem). And funny I lost tutorial about changing of “boxes“ and don’t even know what to google (and IFIXIT don’t have manuals about changing of those). Anyone knows how to change those “boxes“?

Found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoqW3Puk

…and I think I just broke my gamepad. Accidentally new 1708 model is sliiightly different from the video above. There is an additional wire between boards. I pulled top board, found wire, and tried to remove it (it looked like something removable) – something cracked and I found crancked part. Also the wire have tiny-tiny label “IPX”, maybe someone knows what I just broke. I hope it not about battery power management (I have re-chargeable from PC battery) and my controller will not blow up when I change those “boxes“ for analog sticks.

The funniest thins is that details are different from controller 1708 and the analog “boxes“ that I’ve ordered from China. Not sure if I’ll complete repair before buying the the exact same new model of controller (sorry Nature).

What can I say. After managing how to insert new “springs“ into “box“ and assembled gamepad, I was a little happy when found that power is still working. But now I can’t connect it to PC neither Bluetooth or USB cable, definitely that cord that I teared off. RIP my XBOX controller that I used for PC gaming. Know what to buy on Holidays at least.
