100% screen brightness but totally dark background. when i turn flash light on the screen the desktop icons are slightly visible. please help me
Fekadu Wubetu “when i turn flash light on the screen the desktop icons are slightly visible” sounds like a failed backlight. First check your computer with an external monitor and see if that displays correctly. If so it is your backlight that has failed. This could be because of the array inside the LCD screen or it could be because of the backlight driver circuitry on your motherboard. You will have to disassemble your laptop ( you can download the maintenance manual https://www.manualslib.com/manual/827638… ) Once disassembled check the components around the LCD connector and make sure that you find a number or other identifier on the motherboard that might enable us to find a schematic.
