Hello, my HP Elite book 820 laptop, all of a Sudden goes off when unplugged, with no prior battery warning… Yet it shows battery full when plugged in. What do I do please ?
To check the status of your battery you can use the following command in cmd.exe: powercfg /batteryreport If your laptop is turning off every time it’s unplugged though, that’s a sure sign you need to replace the battery, regardless of what any status checks show.
