Hello, I spilled beer on my laptop and now it does not recognize my battery. I cleaned the logic board and changed the battery. Still it will show me that there is no battery installed and the battery icon won’t appear in the menu bar. The laptop works perfectly with the power cable plugged.
You likely didn’t get all of the beer off the logic board or the beer shorted out some components. Time to visit an independent Mac shop which has the needed micro soldering skills to fix your system.
