My key bOard iS disappearing while tyPing

Go to settings»application manager»all and find the keyboard you are using, whether it is the Google stock keyboard or a third party one like SwiftKey etc, clear the data and try again. Failing that, install a third party keyboard and see if the problem persists

Same issue with my S6, it only started after installing the latest update. Have tried resetting the keyboard and rebooting the phone, but no joy . Since the update, also can’t watch videos - especially on FB app - it will play for a few seconds then pause. Have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but problem is still there.

i have the same problem my keyboard keeps disappearing . i have tried 3 other third party keyboards and the same thing happens . must be the phone samsung s6 ? but i have seen the same problem on here with other phones and tablets . What is causing the problem ?

After updating different apps in March 2018, i noticed that my keyboard was disappearing while typing and also had a drainage issue. I looked at which app seemed to be problematic (ended up being the Xperia Clock) which i uninstalled. For the keyboard, the only thing i did after resetting the keyboard (which did not resolved the issue) was to change the dictionary and language for “English US”. Everywhere in my settings where Canada English was shown, i changed it to US English and so far, it has been two days that my keyboard seemed to be staying while typing! The only reason i found out about the dictionary issue was simply by reading various post and gave it a try.

Hi there, I have had the same issue, on my old Nexus 5x. Disabling all the keyboards expect of one that you want to use did the trick for me. Regards, Yarik

In do the keyboard up date

give me give me keyboard on this phone please provide nice I can’t type where is the keyboard

I tried these things, but I found a fix; at least for Instagram. Go into Apps>Application Manager>Instagram (or whatever you’re having the problem with)>FORCE STOP, then go into Storage and ‘Clear Data’. You’ll have to sign into your app again, but it seems to fix it.

Dictionary issue. Setting it to US seemed to solve the issue.

I finally found what fixed this problem on my device. in the device main settings , click/ “language and input, then/ Gboard, then / preferences, then / unclick “popup on keypress” I also unclicked “show emojis in symbols keyboard” The keyboard hasn’t dropped since!

Finally I have found the solution. it was from Clean Master & Super Cleaner apps I had to stop them from working in the background and now every thing is working well. I was about to sell my phone as I did all the ways to trying to solve this issue. I hope this will work with you guys.

Tried all of the above on Galaxy Note9. Only, and I say Only, uninstalling apps by order of download works. Make a list. App 1, no change, App 2, no change, and so on. For me, it was the 11th app recently installed (this can include updates) so turn auto update off. My Note is back to normal after 2 weeks of BS.

Go to settings, advance features, turn on “ smart stay” After doing this I can use Samsung original or Gboard keyboards. I also have on one-handed mode clicked on.

what is the green box on my typing keys on my android phone

Finally works. 1st go to setting>language>default keyboard: change to another option (mine is huawei swype), once changed, now your keyboard is back but its in huawei swype version, Now go to google play install or update new Gboard. Once done change back your keyboard to Gboard. And done !

I was having the same issue, but my fb videos would randomly pause, youtube would back out, and even snapchat would cut out. After I tried EVERYTHING, I was thinking maybe it’s an app that’s causing it, for some reason I had two Pintrest apps on my phone, I dont know how but I uninstalled both of them and now my phone works with fb, YouTube, snap, and my keyboard doesnt disappear every 15 seconds. Hope this helps someone!!!

I had this problem and to fix it I went to my settings and switched my keyboard to left handed keyboard and it fixed the problem

It happends kinda daily but it’s a easy fix just open setting or press you power button and press restart

My keyboard was disappearing in facebook when I typed more than two words. I went to settings, general management, language and input, on screen keyboard and selected default keyboard samsung. Problem fixed on my Samsung tablet.

I installed avast antivirus and my problem was fixed

Well if your using a keyboard app for example kikakeyboard is a keyboard app well try to clean your storage and delete several of your apps and maybe even restart your phone and then let it cool down for a couple of minutes or hours or if none of this works than you delete the app thats causing this and than try to install the app again or just don’t use this keyboard also I’m talking about a phone I don’t know much about laptops or chrimbooks or computers sry and please subscribe to •lazy bean 0-0• if this helped you have a great day and sorry of this did not help you but I hope it does help you toodles!
