Hi, I am a beginner at this tech stuff, like only 13. (So please be clear).I just took out the hard drive of my imac, and put in an ssd. I am trying to get software on it.So when I go to download it. It says pick a drive to install on. Well mine does not show up. But it does show up in disk utility. Can someone pls help. I need to get this fixed soon!Thanks!
Assuming it’s a new drive, or even a used drive, have you formatted it using the disk utility already? my assumption is it’s probably not formatted and so the operating system doesn’t detect it to install.
