I remember my phone being extremely hot. When I opened my phone, the top part of the battery was scratched, and it was “squished”? My phone only turns on when it’s connected to my charger. I can’t use it. I plug my phone to my charger>turns on> shows apple logo with white background>shuts down after few seconds>repeat. The loop stops immediately when I disconnect my charger. Should I change the battery? or is it something else?
I think a new battery will help, cost a few buck not that expensive.
The battery is swollen and needs to be replaced. Make sure you buy a quality battery. You can buy a new battery from 5 to 10 dollars. I get my batteries from fixez.com they are excellent quality.
