I purchase a replacement kit ,from ifixit, and after using it for two weeks, my phone started to lose its charge and now it show 50% charge, but it doesnt fully recharge on 8hrs. It only works when I have my phone plug in on charge. I also noted, that the battery kit, said that the battery is comparitable to the existing one.
It’s very likely that you have a bad battery. I would get it replaced. I have had a really tough time lately finding consistent quality in battery replacements from several suppliers.
