my phone was in a cupholder when a cup of soda exploded and my phone was left in the soda for a few seconds. i took it out and dried it, it worked for a day, but i plugged it in and when i woke up, it was restarting every few minutes…what do i do?

Turn your phone off. Turning it on with liquid inside will only make it worse. It is likely that some soda made its way inside your phone. Any liquid left inside is likely to cause corrosion of connectors and other electrical problems. You may be able to fix your phone if you are feeling mechanically adventurous. Take a look at the Electronics Water Damage page and the iPhone Liquid Damage Repair page for suggestions and to get a sense of what you are in for. If you are not feeling adventurous. Leave your phone off until you can take it to someone to determine what is damaged and if it can be repaired. Here is a guide to help you or your friend take it apart to deal with the liquid damage. Good luck.
