Hi, I have a Imac 21.5 mid 2010. After i changed the HD for SSD It does not turn on. I put back the original HD, but the problem persisted. The 3 lights at logic board turn on, coolers turn on, i can hear a click in HD. However, the imac still present a black screen. Any idea what could be? Thanks, Leo Rocha Update (11/02/2016) Hi Scott, My imac is core i3. Weel, i checked all cables and all were connected. The ligths 1, 2 and 3 still turn on. I rear a little sound like a beep. But the computer does not boot. The HD gives a little snap but i think its not running. Thanks.

Hey Leo! Do you per chance know the model number of your iMac? Do you know if it has the i5 processor or the i3 processor? In any case, it likely will not matter. The fact that things are starting to boot up but your screen is completely black makes me thing you may have a display cable that is still disconnected. This can easily happen, and is luckily an easy fix! You will just need to pop off the display again (this isn’t that easy, but you’ve already done it once before!), and check the connections of the display cables.
