Went black. I was online and it just stopped. It wont start up. the screen is black.I don’t have anything else to say because nothing else happened. There were no whirrs or beeps or fades or flashes. One instant I was @ ebay checking my auctions the next instant black screen. Has anybody heard of this happening before? Should i repair or recycle? Please let me know…
does the little light on the dc jack light up? when you press the power button does the hard drive spin up audibly?
Just happened to me. And I had to fire up the 2003 Toshiba to go online to check it out. I have owned it for a month. It is a reconditioned 2007 G4 Ibook. Went black. Did some cold starts. And then nothing. Dead. Oh dear. And I never use the battery. Also use the power source.
Please, try to push both on/off and Vol. +, maybe it works.
