My DSI XL boot normally, but it not able to start any application. For exemple, it doesn’t start wrench icon or camera application on dsi menu. It not able to start any game. o got this error: “an error has occurred. press and hold the power button to turn the system off” But a can start camera cliking on “L” and “R” buttons. So, i can’t perform factory reset on DSI menu. How could i reset it phicically? Tks. Alexandre Bezerra
I had the exact same problem. It was my first attempt at a repair, so I did a ton of work that was not necessary. Long story short, it was a simple fix. The small wifi sub-board went bad. swapped it with another and all the symptoms went away. Again, the exact same problem as you - camera works, can’t load any application (system settings, insert game, pictochat) or the same error you posted occurs. If that wasn’t the problem, I’d be surprised.
I’ve replace the wi-fi board still no luck, any other suggestions?
Already replaced wifi module and same happens any advise?
