I tried reseating ram, reseting bios, a hard reset and still nothing. I’m so confused because it was working fine a couple of days ago and I did nothing to damage it. I can never find videos on it its like my laptop doesn’t exist
Hi, Are you sure that it is an FX505D and not an FX505DD, DT, DU, DV or DY? Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop’s HDMI port and check if there is a display on it. Don’t forget to press the Fn+F9 keys (both together) to toggle the display from laptop only to external only to both on. Here’s a link to some videos that show disassembly of various FX505D series laptops that may help.
Try and remove the screen connector and any unecassary components
