How’s it going out there, I have a Cub Cadet 2130 riding lawn mower. I have changed the oil and filter. It ran great for about two hours with the mower engaged then it died. it wouldn’t start so I pulled the choke, got it going, and limped it to my shop. I noticed the oil was bubbling hot. I cleaned the exterior of the engine, got a new air filter, put in new gas and fired it up the next day. It ran for about an hour with the blade engaged then she died again. Now when I engage the blades it doesn’t last more than ten minutes. it starts up after waiting for a couple of minutes to cool. There is little smoke to indicate something major. Could this be a fuel problem? The thing is that is was working fine before I changed the oil… Thanks very much

This time of year, I always check for mouse nests on air cooled engines.
