Chosen Solution
I have a new Iphone X, The camera cannot be activated; all that shows when the camera is started is the front, “selfie” camera. I’ve tried reinstalling the OS and many, many other possibilities (new camera apps, for example). I understand that this is a problem shared by others. Does anyone have a fix for this, or do I send the phone back (it’s under warranty)? Thanks for any help you can give me.
If it’s the selfie camera I would send it in for warranty unless it’s an issue caused by iOS 14. While you can replace the FFC, it will result in a loss of FaceID functionality without a special machine from apple.
