I was wearing my apple watch to surf once a week for a couple of months. Shortly after, I began to notice mishaps with the watch. I presume it may be because the watch was worn in salty water too often? I was under the impression that the watch should be fine to wear while swimming. The scroll wheel sometimes doesn’t register the scrolls or clicks and the watch will reboot randomly throughout the day. Sometimes as often as once every 30 minutes. Is there something that can be done to fix the issue? I tried doing a quick search to see if anyone else has had a similar issue but I couldn’t find anything. Thanks!

Did you wash the watch under tap water every time you finished surfing? If not it’s probably got a salt corrosion issue which might not be repairable given the device.
