I have an old tablet that was working great and suddenly it just would not start. How do I know if its a problem with the charging connector or if it is the battery that is dead ? It is a YUANDAO N90 9.7" Android 4.1 . (I know it is old)

If I connect with the usb cable to my laptop, my computer is not able to find a pilot to read the data and I have no sign that the battery is recharging.

Any idea how I could get my data out ?

Thank you

If its an old tablet it’s probably your battery.

If this is an older device like you said, it’s likely a bad battery. While you can find batteries online and probably relatively cheap, you have to decide if it’s worth it to put money into the device. It might be more cost effective to just buy a new device. Repairs on these older tablets is typically more than what the device is worth. If you need help getting old data off of it, a local repair shop might be able to help you.
