I’ve replaced the battery and ignition switch. The mower will not start when the key is turned to the start position. However, with the ignition switch in the on position, I can jump across the terminals on the starter and the mower will crank. This problem is intermittent. When this occurs, the mower will not shut off when the ignition switch is turned to the off position. I suspect a relay, however, I don’t know where to look. With the switch off, try jumping it. Sounds like a bad switch to me.

Hello I would think it you’re so annoyed I would imagine it be a relay I’ve dealt with this problem before but I don’t know the make and model of it so you can check around for a relay but I’m pretty sure it’s the solenoid especially after you replace the ignition switch and that’ll probably get you up and going problem fix
