the carpet cleaner was used to vac an oriental rug. the vac gave off a strong odor and quit. suction line was not obstructed. after the thermal over load let it start it again smelled hot and stalled permanently. i cannot get to the motor as seems to involve removing the wheels. hoovers customer support is a computer that refers me to a number that doesn,t answer. the local vac dealers want nothing to do with a hoover, will someone instruct me as how to get to the motor ??? olddoc11@ec.rr.com
