Moto g5 audio and speaker not working also when I connect the headphones into the jack it not working, I tried my earpods not working as well i tried to reset factory and format everything and tried also to setup custom roms and again stock rom but same issue, I tried to download soundabout but when I try to open it it close immediately, radio app not working also when I run the camera app it is working good but when I turn to take a video with the camera it says can’t start video recording, I want to say that everything depends on the mic doesn’t work also so what is the problem in the phone and thank you
Hi @sadekianovic , What is the history of the phone, has it been dropped or gotten wet at all? Given that you’ve done a factory reset and it still doesn’t work OK, it points to a hardware problem and not software There seems to be multiple problems although most can be associated with the headphone jack more than with the microphone e.g. headphone jack switches audio between speaker and headphones, also voice is switched as well from microphone to headphone mic, radio needs headphones plugged in for antenna etc Does the phone indicate that the headphones are connected even when they aren’t? You may have to open the phone and check that the headphone jack is connected OK Here’s the ifixit Motorola Moto G5 Motherboard Replacement guide that may help. At least to gain access to the jack
