My Note 8 (UK 64Gb N950F) randomly crashes and/or reboots so I’m looking to replace the main board myself. I’ve found this site that offers replacement parts but I was just wondering if anyone has successfully used a 128Gb board in a 64Gb phone, or even changed from a single sim to dual-sim board?

Stay the &&^& away from AliExpress when it comes to stuff like that. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but what is often advertised is a lie. You’ll either get a messed up board whether it’s liquid damaged and has all kinds of short circuits or it could have been blacklisted and therefore won’t work on any network. But to answer your question, if you were to swap the boards just make sure that it’s the right variant otherwise the charge port and cameras won’t work. There are a few variances in galaxy devices and that’s why you’ll often see two camera or charge port replacements.
