A month ago I bought a motherboard to repair my Mackbook Pro 2012, when the technician installed it, the computer requested a firmware password, I dont have it and the ebay seller answered he doesn´t either, what can I do??? Thanks for your answer.
Do you still have the Grey CD/DVD’s that came with your system? If you do running the diagnostic CD will allow you to reset the firmware password. Here’s another way if your OS installed allows it Set a firmware password on your Mac
