When the laptop is open the monitor stays in but when I shut the laptop as I don’t want it open when I have a 49 inch screen it turns off and goes into power saving mode, how can I stop this
Hi What is the make and model number of the laptop and what OS is installed? Try changing the laptop setting for what the lid switch does when the lid is closed. If Windows is installed then generally the lid switch options are the same for most major brands. Here’s a link that shows what to do. I don’t know about MacOS or Linux but presume that they would have a similar setting for the lid switch function
