Hi, Recently my monitor does not have signal when startup, but CPU does work and after wait for minutes, i heard the sound of window start. The monitor will have signal after when i switch off the power and startup again. After a week, the problem getting more frequent and i need to switch off and on the power for few times in order to make my monitor works. I am using Graphic card. May i know what actually happened to my PC? Should i reformat or system restore? :s Thanks in advance for the answer :)
What you should do first is check to make sure that the monitor isn’t the source of the problem. Try connecting a different monitor to see if it does the same thing. If it works fine with another monitor then it’s the monitor that isn’t working. Also try using a different connector as the cable might not be working either. Also check the ports for any damage or loose parts.
