Hi @jp8380 , Don’t turn on the PC, just turn on the monitor and see if you can view the monitor’s OSD (On Screen Display) menus without the monitor powering off and then powering on again. I assume that it powers off and not just that the screen turns off, because you said “… moniter turns off completely and so does the light.”? Is seems as though there is a problem with the power supply connection in the monitor itself. If it is a new monitor, don’t open it as you will void the warranty. Contact the seller about the problem and if they don’t want to know about it contact Acer support in your location. If it is a “used” monitor, then still contact the seller about the problem, as the item is faulty, unless it was sold this way and you knew about it before you bought it. In the meantime, hopefully the service manual for the monitor may be found if you don’t get a good response from the seller or the manufacturer, so that perhaps you can repair the monitor. But go the warranty route first if possible!
