The digitizer glass on my mini 3 broke and I replaced it per instructions. What I noticed is that after installing it, there is now a rainbow/moiré like pattern on the top right that covers about 1/4 of the screen. Is this a defect in the digitizer glass? No screen protector and no obvious signs of cracked LCD…
Hello, I would first try disconnecting the digitizer and powering on the iPad to see if it still shows those symptoms, If it does its obvious that the LCD has been damaged and you need a replacement LCD! :D
