Chosen Solution

Cycle completed as normal, but mister was spraying clothes and created a puddle at filter. To cut it off, I clode eater values to washer & dryer and unplugged dryer. Any suggestions. Tech Sheet has not provided needed insight.

Hi @ijamsville , Don’t know the answer but in the SteamCare cycles i.e. Refresh and Touch Up a water inlet solenoid (see part #59 bulkhead parts) is operated to dispense the water. Does the Wet light come on in the Steam cycle? According to the owner manual this indicates that water is being dispensed onto the load and presumably it goes out when the water is shut off. Don’t know if this is correct though. If it doesn’t stay on maybe it’s a sticking solenoid valve. If it stays on then perhaps there is a problem with the dryer user interface (part #18 Top and Console parts - supplier example only) maintaining the solenoid operated when it shouldn’t. If it is determined that it is the control board just search online for W10110646 to find suppliers that suit you best Does the tech sheet have a test for the Steamcare cycles at all?
