Hi, I have the battery in my 2017 Macbook Pro 15” replaced in a store, and after that the left fan spins at full speed all the time even though the cpu usage is very low. The store refused to be responsible and claims it is due to the swollen battery. Tired of reasoning with them, I decide to do find the cause myself. I have use TG pro which shows all the sensor is working and no high temp. I try to use Fan control to lower the rate, but the it does not work. Fan Control can control the right fan that is working properly, but not the left fan that are running at full speed all the time. today, I opened up my mac, and I think the left fan connector latch is missing. According to the photo, is the latch missing ? or it is not ? any suggestion to solve the issue is welcome :D

PPF003 is a fan error. I would take a spare fan and see if plugging it in solved the error. If it does then I know I have to dig all the way in. But before you do that you need to isolate out which fan is in trouble. I would install this app TG Pro it will give you a visual view of things.
