Hi guys, Does anyone know a part number for a replacement part for the thunderbolt / mini-display port on the A1644 Macbook air? And, if possible a place to buy the part? In the schematics floating around online, the part is called J9400, with what appears to be manufacturer part number MDP-J11 F-RT-TH. But that doesn’t get me any closer. Thank you!
Sadly the connector is part of the main logic board. The best you could do is find a junker board and try to desolder the connecter to then put on your board. Frankly, I think its just easier to replace the logic board and maybe upgrade it in the process to a 8 GB board or getting the better CPU MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement
