My GE model #jnm1541dm2bb started acting up yesterday. It’s slow to start and when it comes on the motor make a Grindy sound and the turntable is slow to turn. It still heats food fine. Any suggestions?

Hi @bigd569 , Check that the rollers on the turntable haven’t got any flat spots. If any one of the three rollers has a flat spot you’ll have to replace the turntable, as the rollers aren’t sold as a separate part.

(click on image to enlarge for better viewing) If the rollers appear to be OK then most probably there is a problem with the motor. Here is a link to one supplier of the parts, if one or the other is at fault.. (#43 - motor, #84 turntable). It is not a recommendation to use them. It is shown to give an idea of the cost of the parts. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for GE jnm1541dm2bb turntable or GE jnm1541dm2bb motor or just GE jnm1541dm2bb parts to get results. Hopefully this is of some help
