So it beeps. my friend said it might be a chip issue. So how do I repair that? Or can you recommend someone I can send it to for it to be repaired?

Is it like a 3 pattern beep where in between the beeps is about half a second each time? If yes, the fault is usually either bad ram slot or faulty ram. To test for a bad ram slot I only put one ram stuck in. Try and see if it boots and chimes. Then if one works try that same stick in the other slot. If it don’t work in the other slot it may be a bad ram slot. These can get blocked with dust so I would brush or blow them lightly (compressed air can)
