My Maytag MVWC565FW0 washer fills up but doesn’t go into wash mode, instead it starts a constant clicking noise then drains after several minutes. I’ve done the Diagnostic codes but it shows nothing. Code lights up for F but that’s it, nothing else. Splutch looks good it fills, will spin, will drain - everything except go into wash mode.
Hi, I realize that you said that there were no diagnostic error codes but try running a manual agitation test (gentle or heavy) as shown on p.9 of the tech sheet for the washer. On p.10 it describes the possible reasons and what to check for a no agitation problem. Hopefully this is of some help.
