I recently replaced the ice maker in my Maytag refrigerator. Fridge has French doors with freezer on the bottom and Ice maker on the top in the refrigerator portion. Since replacing we have been getting very low amounts of water in the ice maker. Running the water fill test did not fill the ice maker. In trying to check the duel inlet valve, I noticed the water runs through the fill tube when the cover is removed. I have now removed the cover, and taped the filter up, and the Fridge is now making ice and water is running through the fill tube just fine. could I be pinching the water fill when putting the cover back on?

Hi @tehend432 Here’s the tech sheet for the refrigerator. It shows how to get into the service diagnostic mode for the refrigerator. Check Service Test #56 Ice Maker error codes to see if there are any error codes showing for the ice maker and what their possible causes may be. There is also Service Test #45 Ice Maker water fill test that may help as well
