I have a Maytag Maxima (MHW6000XG1) front load washer, was stopping and giving me the F09E01 drain error, I cleaned out the coin catcher at the pump, it wasn’t dirty, still got the error despite it draining fine, replaced the pump, worked perfect for one load and then came the F08E01 error which made no sense as it filled quickly and was full of water yet stopped in the middle of the cycle and I had to cancel it out. Strange thing is if I run the Spin cycle with the extra rinse that works fine. It only seems to generate the error when in one of the wash modes? The other strange thing is the dispenser appears to have water in the right side (fabric softener and bleach side). Could it be the dispenser activator switch that is the issue?

Hi @bdriedger, Check if the water level pressure switch and the pressure switch circuit is OK I realize that you said that the washer was filling OK but according to the tech sheet an F8E1 error code could be a problem with the pressure switch (see p.10) On p.17, Test #7 where it details how to test the switch there is a note that says NOTE: Usually, if the pressure sensor malfunctions, the washer will generate a long fill or long drain error which is an F9E1 error code. If it is not the switch it could be in the pressure switch circuit then. If the switch is faulty search online for WPW10304342 to get results for suppliers of the part that suits you best.
