I have a Marklin My World, model no. 29204. It has a basic remote to a battery powered locomotive. There is no response from the locomotive. I have replaced batteries in both remote and locomotive, but no response. Can someone help? I think the working of this toy is basic, but I am a beginner in repairing stuff myself. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

@crunchycon start by checking the IR remote. An IR Remote Control sends out infrared light signals which you can’t see with your naked eye. Luckily you can use your cellphone camera to check for any IR light from the remote. Check on here to see how it is done. Let us know what you find.

switch on remote and on train must be on same . For exaple if is on train A on remote must switch to A too . or B , C …. depends of model of train .
