So I am trying to change the source from TV to AV and every time i touch “source” the menu will pop up and same thing with channels and volume. We have lost the remote so we have to use the buttons on the TV. Everything we’ve tried has yet to work. Thank you and have a great day.
Try turning off the TV and unplugging it for a bit. Then, plug it in and retry. Think of this as a hard reboot. If this doesn’t work, then your problem is most likely in the button assembly. That no matter what button you push, the menu is detected as being pushed. Unfortunately, I can’t find anything online on how your button assembly is put together. as a shot in the dark, try wiggling each individual button. Maybe this will align the button with the “switch”. If you are still having problems, you can buy a cheap universal remote or a replacement remote. This way, if there is a problem with the button assembly, you might be able to work around the problem with the universal remote.
