macbook pro 13" mid 2014 has rainbow vertical lines on led backlit retina screen. Its on the right side of the screen. It doesnt seem “cracked” but more like Squished, or a little smushed?
As per what Dan suggested, a clear picture or two would allow confirmation but per initial description it sounds that the LCD itself may be damaged. That picture would let us confirm exactly what happened though.
