My macbook can be turn on only with ac power adaptor. (battery detected but not functional) If i unplug the ac its turn off imidietly and buttery do nothing. ( Battery detected and charging well in os ) I tired all the smc and nvram and … reset. Note. : It was fine before i just opened and clean it then this problem appear. Magsafe light start with green then stay orange even without batteryAuto boot after plug the ac. Update : this ic looks diffrent ( white buble inside ) ( check the target line in uploaded pic) This buble mean the ic goes dead ?
Whats the name of this ic? Or could have relation with power source ?
OK you found the comparator resistors! And the one you pointed to R7006 has failed! This happens when you use a knockoff charger as they over power the circuit.
