Hi I asked a question before but I got the model and year wrong so figured I would post a more accurate question. my macbook has worked fine for years but now only loads half and shuts off. also when I go to do self repair it says it cannot repair itself. how would I go about fixing this problem?
Could be several things. Try a Safe Mode boot by holding down the Shift key on start up. Next try a PRAM reset. On older Macs, the chime will sound upon restart.
