Chosen Solution

Hello, My MacBook (late 2009 Model) won’t power on. After reading here, I replaced the battery because it was right about 5 years after I purchased, which is the apparent battery life. Unfortunately, the problem still remains. The replacement battery charged up (light was orange initially and eventually went green) but after pressing (and holding sometimes) the power button there is no reaction (no noise, no fan, nothing). What should I do now?

I actually just googled a bit, and maybe one of this already asked questions help, It isnt exactly the same model but it should be the same procedure Here: My MacBook Pro 13" won’t turn on Bit longer Here: Solutions as to why my MacBook Pro won’t power on? Now my grandma advice apart from those above, if you try any solution above and are ready to trow it trough the window keep calm, drink a coffee and open again, and check the Keyboard connections are proper connecting, I have a powerbook G4 fixed last week ( I know you must be laughing at me xD and you should) the problem was no audion and no usb on the left side I opened and everything was perfectly connected. I than used the Grand ma trick, I basically bought 100% alcohol ok something like 99% and with a cotton bud I cleaned every gold connection that could cause my problem, In your case the Keyboard if I am right so I suppose if you open again give a good good check up clean all the gold pads check everything is well and deep plugged, you have good good chances that It will turn on just like magic. :O ;) \o/ Cheers

Feel the wide chip that’s over the mag-safe connector on the logic board to see if it feels concave and let me know.
