I have been chasing a charging issue since I got this macbook pro. I was given a brand new charger 60w with the purchase and have replaced the battery and dc board as well as look for any signs of damage or burnt componets with no luck. I even bought an 85w charger after reading a forum stating 60w can run the macbook but can’t charge it. I have reset the smc and pram or nvram. So I have replaced or reset everything I can think of or have read about replacing/resetting and the macbook still will not charge. When I plug the 60w cable i get a dim green light the 85w lights up green for like 30 seconds then just turns off and I get a black battery with a lightning bolt at the top saying not charging. Battery status is normal. How can I prove that it is a logic board or prove what it is so I stop spending money chasing a ghost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Let’s take a look at it with a better tool. Please download, install and run Coconut Battery and post you results with the adapter connected and if you can, with it unconnected. https://coconut-flavour.com/coconutbatte
