Hi!!! I’ve a question, is it possible upgrade the module of bluetooth of my MacBook Pro mid 2009 (5,4)? I would like add a bluetooth low energy module.
Not really possible once it’s out you’d have to have (find) a the newer replacement card, all for relatively little little gain. You could turn off Bluetooth when not in use much easier. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.
I think the benefit would be to add the handoff features of Yosemite. I’m interested if this is possible too.
Very odd that BT LE is required for handoff, I have an older 2008 15" macbook pro and handoff works perfectly fine without the newest bluetooth…
