Hello everyone. (sorry for my bad English) I am in the following situation, today I turned on my mac and I found that the trackpad and keyboard stopped working completely, they do not respond to ANYTHING. Everything else works perfectly, USB ports, Touchbar, etc … Right now I find myself using it with a usb keyboard and a BT Apple Trackpad. Ok, looking at iFixit and other sites, I have found that the 2015 model is fixed by changing the trackpad flex, but I would like to know if on the 2016 13 ‘with touchbar (model a1706), this is also a known issue. I’m waiting for information, if anyone has it, to start trying to repair it. I already clean the NVRAM, and reinstall the full system, and nothing works. From already thank you very much!

Oh Boy! Not good ;-{ Apple in there wisdom redesigned the keyboard (Butterfly) and in doing so made major changes. The keyboard and trackpad each use there own connection in your system to the logic board. You’ll need to inspect the connections for corrosion or damage.
