MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Late 2013 will not turn on. MagSafe Power Light turns green for 1 second then turns orange and stays orange. Have replaced the battery and charged for 24 hours. During this time, the MacBook was warm initially then eventually cooled off. Nothing happens when pressing the power button, whether plugged-in or not. Pressing shift+control+option+power button turns the MagSafe Power Light to green for 1 second then back to orange. The power adapter and MagSafe connector have been tested on other MacBooks successfully.
I’m suspecting you have a knockoff MagSafe charger which has damaged your logic board. The market place has become flooded with these cheap knockoffs as Apple stopped fighting their importing into the EU & US.
