When i got it, it was total dead. I toke it aparts, clean motherboard and everything else with alcohol and let it dry good. I put it back together and blugged it in, pres power button and it came alive. So good so far…. But… There is a power problem. MBA stays on with power adapter only. It works fine with it but not charge battery at all. If I unplug it, it will immediately shuts down. Battery Status was before says 83% then 72% and now it is 68%. When plug AC adabter, the led on adapter turns green for second and then goes orange, so it thinks it charge… Here is battery information: Charge Information: Charge Remain (mAh): 4607 Fully Charged: No Charging: No Full Charge Capacity (Mah): 7047 Healt Information: Cycle Count: 17 Condition: Nomal Battery Installed: Yes Amperage (mA): 0 Voltage (mV): 7887 AC Charger Information: Connected: Yes ID: 0x07a1 Wattage (W): 45 Family: 0x00ba Serial Number: 0x00a9700d Charging: No I have reset PRAM and SMC, not helping. If this device was liquid damage as you’ve said, you need to do a proper cleaning of the logic board in a professional-grade ultrasonic cleaner. There is just some places underneath the chips that alcohol and a toothbrush cannot reach and that’s probably what’s causing your issues.
